When I was a student at Auburn University, I struggled to find balance between academics, work, and social relationships. I know firsthand how difficult this phase in life can be. Some struggle with the initial transition to college, others struggle to maintain their college experience, and then others find it most difficult to move to their next step beyond their degree. It can be helpful to talk with someone who is objective. I am interested in hearing about your experience and learning about your goals and the areas where you are being challenged. Sometimes it is about surviving and learning to cope. Other times it’s about setting realistic goals and being accountable for reasonable progress. Still other times it may be about identifying bad habits, toxic people, or a wrong direction and creating change. Regardless of your specific experience and process, I hope you will find support and encouragement when we meet.
As a wife and working mother, I am passionate about supporting women through the good, the bad, and the heartbreaking experiences life has to offer. Depression and anxiety can be lonely. Many women feel alone in their struggling with the most basic parts of daily life. I want you to know that you are not alone. You may not be the person you once knew yourself to be, but I assure you, you can find the best version of yourself!
I feel especially drawn to serve women though loss and grief. This often takes on many forms, and there is no right or wrong way to grieve. What is most important is how you cope. Often that happens one day at a time and takes a lot of effort. Whether you are grieving the loss of a pregnancy, a child, a loved one, a job, a relationship, a career, or a lifestyle, I want to help you find hope.
